Linda Balzer  

Linda joined the Benton County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse in 1991 with a strong interest in Search and Rescue and quickly became SAR Certified.  Linda was introduced to Tracking at her first class in 1992 at China Hat outside of Bend, OR and has since climbed to Sign Cutter.

Linda is a past Captain of 5 years for the Posse, a founding member and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Benton County Tracker Unit.  Her experience is not only in searching for lost persons but also in crime scene investigations using Tracking.

Linda Signed on to UTS in March 2010 and is the UTS accountant, administrative assistant, inventory controller and manages the on-line store.

Linda is self employed along with her husband Mark and resides in Corvallis, OR along with their horses and two Golden Retrievers.

UTS has unified an instructional staff for its "Tracking Program", which brings together more than one hundred years of tracking training, experience and actual mission response. 
These instructors have taught more than 400 tracking courses involving thousands of students.

Training courses and seminars are presented to students from Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Military and other organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

All tracking program courses are based on the historical expertise and methodology of the United States Border Patrol Sign Cutters.
